Do you know what blood cancer is? It is a disease that occurs in the blood and today is day 2 of Pennies for Patients!
Mrs. Sparano's class not only leads the 6th grade, but her class has the highest donations of anyone in the school! You can donate pennies, quarters, 5-dollar bills, whatever you like! Even checks are acceptable. Please make checks out to P-f-P that stands for Pennies for Patients! It's tax deductible! Please send you boxes to Ms. Hill, in room 811 each morning to get your money counted!! Keep those donations coming!

Conestoga Rugby is offered for both boys and girls in middle and high school. Anyone who is interested should plan on attending an informational meeting on January 19 at 7:00 pm at Conestoga High School.

Do you have any slightly used sports equipment at home? Such as balls, jump ropes, gloves, and hula hoops. Would you like to help school aged children who do not have this kind of equipment to use to recess. The Student Council is supporting an equipment drive called “Kick it up for Recess.” They will be collecting new and gently used recess supplies for inner city schools. The program is sponsored by United Way, and the United Way Club at Conestoga. Your donations can be dropped off all next week in the boxes in the Student Council Corner. A list of items will be posted in classrooms and on the bulletin board of the Student Council Corner. The Student Council thanks you for your support.
