The deadline is tomorrow for Stockings for Kids, the community service project for the Salvation Army. Thank you to everyone who has already filled or will fill a stocking. All stockings are due to be filled and returned to VFMS by tomorrow, Tuesday, December 13th. Boxes to put your filled stockings in are located in the main lobby outside Room 818. Thank you to the whole VFMS community for bringing happiness to 450 needy children in our area.

7th and 8th graders, your Student Council invites you to attend this year’s winter dance. The dance will be held on Friday, December 16th from 7:30-9:30. Tickets will be $3.00 and will be on sale next week from Tuesday through Friday in the mornings in the main lobby and also at lunch. The dance is a dressy event, and there are a few fashion requirements. No sneakers or jeans please. Recommended attire for the boys is a nice pair of pants with a button down, collared shirt. A tie is not required, but it is a nice fashion accessory. Girls should wear a skirt or dress or other appropriate outfit.

If you are a newly elected 7th or 8th grade homeroom representative or alternate, your attendance is requested at the first Representative Council meeting. The meeting will be held in room 803, this Thursday during your activity period. All representatives and alternates should attend the meeting, this Thursday, during activity period in room 803. We will be discussing your responsibilities as homeroom reps as well as other important information. Please plan on attending.

Attention all knitters and crocheters!
The Builder's club is participating in the 2012 Special Olympics Scarf Project, and they need your help! They need you to make scarves! The deadline is January 26th and we hope to donate 50 scarves from Valley Forge. The colors are very specific. They must be colors Really Red and Navy by Red Heart Yarn . If you're interested in helping out, there's a flyer in the main office with the specific colors listed! If you have any questions please see Ms Hill in room 811

The final casting audition will be held on Friday December 16 after school from 2:30-5:30. THAT'S THIS FRIDAY! You should bring a snack and have a ride home. Make sure you are prepared to act your scene(s) and sing ALL of the music you were given at your callback.
